The 'Ship' that works in the deserts of Africa, the Middle East and Asia

Let's face it, camels are ugly, very ugly. Yet, their very ugliness renders them rather cute and game makers have often remembered this and included their images in games.

The Camel (genus Camelus) is known as 'The Ship of the Desert', not because it's humps are full of water but because their body just uses less water than expected, helping them to work in hot climates. The Dromedary has 1 hump and is found in the Middle East and north of Africa. The Bactrian has 2 humps and lives in central Asia. They have been domesticated and are best known as working creatures but they also provide milk, meat and hair.  They have a long life, 40 to 50 years is typical. Below, I am showing Camels that have appeared in games but first, let me tell you a camel joke:

A man joins the foreign legion. After a few months he says to a friend, "This is a very lonely life without women. What do Legionnaires do for female company?". "Ah" his friend says, "We make use of camels, if you know what I mean? It happens once a year and is due to occur very soon.". Two weeks later, the soldiers are lined up in a long line on one side of the parade ground. On the other side are an equal number of camels, each with a little set of steps behind them. The Sergeant blows a whistle and the Legionnaires start running towards the camels. "Why are we running?" says the new man to his friend. His friend replies "You don't want to get an ugly one, do you?"
